The fourth annual SEAT event in Barcelona was like a big melting pot for Club SEAT members from all around Europe. From tapas and cocktails to live bands and entertainment, everyone had a fantastic weekend in the Spanish city of sun and parties. Best of all, SEAT treated everyone to an exclusive rundown of what's on the horizon for SEAT, including new designs, concept cars and launch dates.

On the first day, all the winning UK Club SEAT members were flown into Barcelona in time for lunch and cocktails. Then, to make the most of the sunny weather, we all climbed aboard the Club SEAT coaches and did a spot of sightseeing.

That evening , SEAT hosted a special experience for Club SEAT members in a secret venue in Barcelona. Welcomed by the Director of Marketing Communication at SEAT, S.A, Alejandro Paschalides, Club SEAT members got taken behind-the-scenes for an exclusive SEAT production.

With dancers, bands, DJs, and even a half pipe featuring extreme sports, the SEAT event in Barcelona was as performance driven as a Cupra R! As well as multiple stages full of live entertainment, SEAT also provided Spanish cuisine and a full bar for all the lucky Club SEAT members and their guests. But this was more than just a party. SEAT shared inside information and an exclusive look at the latest designs as well!

SEAT prides itself on being a design driven brand, so to get a sneak peek at upcoming models and concept cars was a real treat. Members not only had the chance sit in the cars, but got to hear all about new car launch dates and what to expect from SEAT headquarters in the coming years. Plus, they mingled with SEAT staff and SEAT dealers, got up close with exciting new concept cars, and even got to play with the latest SEAT gadgets.

A real crowd pleaser was the IBE concept car. It combines high performance, akin to a SEAT Cupra or FR, and twists all expectations by incorporating ecomotive values, and of course, stunning design. This was a great opportunity for Club SEAT members to be one of the first to have a close-up look.

When the SEAT experience came to an end at about 2am, we took some of the Club SEAT members to a few hotspots around Barcelona. Then after breakfast and a leisurely lunch the following day, it was time for Club SEAT UK to fly back home.

This trip to Barcelona was an amazing Club SEAT member benefit, and we can't wait to do it again next year. Look out for it in early 2011 and hopefully we'll see you there!
